Mathew T. Southwick, PA-C, completed a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson-Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho, with a major in biology and minor in chemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Ever since he took his first anatomy and physiology class in high school, Mat has shown a passion for medicine and the human body. He developed an enthusiasm for orthopedics during his clinical rotations in graduate school. He enjoys working with patients to help them understand their illnesses and develop the best treatment course for them.
Mat is originally from the small farming town of Sugar City, Idaho. He is married with a one young child. He and his wife, who is originally from Farmington, are grateful to be living closer to their families. They enjoy spending time together and participating in community events.
